IAD (Integrated Access Device) Inventory System
Project Description - The system allows a specified group of users to enter, maintain, and track IAD devices including purchase order, invoice, contract, capacity, usage, etc. The system allows these specified users to assign an IAD device to a new customer, exchange an IAD device from an existing customer due to damage, obsolete, product change, or reported trouble, and/or to return a device from a customer canceling their service with the provider. The system keeps device information current by classifying IAD devices according to the following criteria: obsolete devices, testing returned devices to make them available or to send them for repair and make them available in inventory after the device has been repaired. The IAD inventory system also supports an online re-order feature of all devices by their type. The system also includes numerous reporting and drill down capabilities.
Technologies - The system was developed using JAVA, Struts, Hibernate, JBOSS and Oracle as the database.
