B2B E-Commerce System for OrderZone.Com / W.W. Grainger, Inc.

Project Description - OrderZone was founded with the objective of utilizing web based technologies to sell MRO products to businesses. It was subsequently sold by W.W.Grainger. OrderZone.Com is a multi-supplier B2B marketplace supporting 400,000+ products and providing e-procurement capabilities. This system included a separate price management system for product managers and was integrated with other backoffice systems e.g. Peoplesoft for accounting.

Technologies - BroadVision, Java, Oracle, Verity, Peoplesoft, Silknet, Activeworks and ColdFusion.

Project Scope: more than 40,000 Man-hours Peak staffing of 50+ professionals for time compressed project of 5 month duration.
